The Treatment Process

Texas Clinic Westview use’s FDA approved medications to treat alcohol use disorders (AUD) and opioid use disorders (OUD). These medications relieve the withdrawal symptoms and psychological cravings that cause chemical imbalances in the body. Medications used are evidence-based treatment options and do not just substitute one drug for another. This results in proper regulation of bodily functions and decreases chances of relapse.

Our Services

Texas Clinic Westview is a Narcotic Treatment Program regulated by the Texas Department of State Health Services. Texas Clinic Westview provides Medication - Assisted treatment (MAT), a evidenced-based treatment using medications (Methadone, Suboxone, Sublocade and Vititrol in the treatment of Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD) and Opiate Use Disorder(OUD), in the combination of behavioral and counseling therapies. Texas Clinic Westview tailors to the individuals needs helping to sustain recovery and overall wellness.

Methadone

Many clients have commented on the fact that methadone helps them feel “normal” for the first time in a long while. Methadone is not a cure for addiction.

Vivitrol is the first and only non-addictive, once-monthly, time-released medication that, when combined with counseling, is proven to help prevent relapse to opioid AND alcohol dependence.
